A local Grafton manufacturer is looking to add a Brake Press Operator to their First Shift team.
Wage will vary depending on experience.
Part or Full-Time, Flexible Shift
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC controlled Brake Presses to form and bend a variety of materials to meet drawing specifications, while controlling quality and efficiency.
- Reads and interprets blueprints.
- Ability to work on a variety of brake presses.
- Operates Brake Press to run prototype jobs and new part orders, incorporating adjustments with direction and training.
- Inspects parts using precision measuring equipment (micrometer, calipers, protractor) and documents inspection data.
- Develop bend sequence / handling tips
- Ability to read and understand quality documents / job travelers.
- Good math skills: basic reading & writing skills, to accurately count parts and appropriately package/palletize.
- Ability to work safely with equipment and others and follow on/off procedures.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Experience and/or Education required: One year certificate from college or technical school; one year related experience and/or training and a high school diploma or GED.
